STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE in the One True Living God of all love, light, compassion, and creation. He exists eternally in 3 persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 4:16; 1 John 1:5; Psalm 139:12; Psalm 103:13; Psalm 116:5; 2 Corinthians 1:3; and Genesis 1; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Isaiah 11:2)

WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ to be the Son of God. He came into the world begotten of Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. He voluntarily suffered and died to forgive our sins and bring healing. He rose again and ascended to heaven to restore our identity and dominion. (Matthew 3:17; Matthew 1:20; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; John 1:14; Isaiah 53:4-6; Romans 8:17; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 4:7-10; Genesis 1:28; Luke 10:19; Matthew 28:18-19)

WE BELIEVE Holy Spirit is alive and active in the world today. He helps, teaches, reminds, comforts and convicts all men. He is a divine encourager that enables and empowers believers to be kings and priests of God. (Romans 8:19; John 14:26; John16:7-8,26; Ephesians 1:17-20; Revelation 1:6)

WE BELIEVE the Bible was inspired by God and is entirely true in its original manuscripts. Because it is God’s Word, it is alive and has the power to transform (2Timothy 3:6; Hebrews 4:12)

WE BELIEVE that the name and the shed blood of Jesus Christ are the only grounds for justification and salvation. Those who believe and receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (Acts 4:12; Hebrews 10:22; Galatians 3:26; John 3:5; Romans 8:3-4)

WE BELIEVE the true Church began on the day of Pentecost and is composed of such people who have saving faith in Jesus Christ. The people are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.
(Acts 2:1-4; Ephesians 4:8; John 3:5-8; 1 Corinthians 12:11-14; Colossians 1:18)

WE BELIEVE that water baptism and communion are important in the growing and maturing of the believer. (Acts 19:1-7; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:22-26)
